Most gentlemen like a bay rum that will take hold sharp; they generally find it a difficult matter to get any such at the barbershops. The particular bay rum made after this formula will prove very satisfactory, as it is much pleasanter to use than the ordinary kinds. 1861 Am Excellent Gentleman's Pomatum- 1oz
- If you like that slick and shiny look, then this pomade is for you! This recipe was unique because it specified that this product was meant for the guys! Usually with historical products they didn't differentiate between whom the products were geared to like they do today and the exceptions are few. But here we are! Soft Pomade has no wax, so this is for sticking the hair back and giving it shine. Remember, it may need to be stirred occasionally. It is an all-natural and historically accurate product. We don't add any emulsifiers - so things may separate but just give a good stir and you can always put it in the fridge to firm it up. Want to learn more?
