When a woman has a baby, she often develops pigmentation spots on her skin. One term we use for this is the "mask of pregnancy," which includes skin rashes that tend to be darker in color. This infusion is designed to naturally fade these marks and effectively target age spots.

"Borage seed oil is used for skin disorders Including eczema, seborrheic dermatitis, and neurodermatitis, it is also used for rheumatoid arthritis (RA), stress, premenstrual syndrome (PMS), diabetes, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), alcoholism, pain and swelling (inflammation), as well as preventing heart disease and stroke. The borage flower and leaves are utilized for fever, cough, and depression, and they have been employed to boost breast milk production and treat bronchitis and colds. It can be applied to the skin for infantile seborrheic dermatitis and is also used in a dressing to soften the skin. (See more below)
 
One of the most powerful demonstrations of the benefits of topically applied borage oil is a clinical study conducted on 48 infants suffering from severe infantile seborrheic dermatitis, commonly known as “cradle cap.” This condition is characterized by dry scales and crusts on the scalp, eyelids, face, armpits, chest, and groin. The infants were treated with borage oil applied topically twice daily, and the condition cleared within two weeks. There was not only an improvement in the areas where the borage oil was applied directly, but also in areas where it wasn’t. This result indicated that the borage oil was effectively absorbed through the skin, becoming available throughout the body as a source of gamma-linolenic acid for the biosynthesis of Prostaglandin 1. If the treatment was discontinued, the symptoms recurred within one week. However, if the treatment continued until the infants were seven months old and then stopped, there was no relapse.
 
Additionally, ample evidence from research on both humans and animals indicates that borage significantly improves the health and appearance of skin tissue. Clinically, borage has proven to be an effective agent for treating skin disorders and alleviating the inflammatory symptoms associated with them. For everyday use, it has been shown to be effective in addressing the redness, inflammation, and moisture loss linked to dry skin. Apparently, they knew a thing or two back in the 18th century. 
 
Shake well before use! Natural settling and the presence of “scobys” or “mothers” may occur. This is completely natural and can be removed or left in the bottle. While it’s preferable to keep them in, we understand if you choose to remove them.
