1. 1 3/4oz -Cream Of Roses Milk Of Roses - Cream of Roses was a staple on every woman toilette. It was essential for soft glowing youthful skin and Cold Creams were a product used regularly up until the 1960's. We want to change that and bring Cold Cream back. Once you use it you can't live without it. It will benefit your complexion and soften your skin. Organic Almond Oil, Organic Jojoba, Organic Bees Wax, Organic Rose Water, EO Rose Oil

2. 11 g -Pearl Powder + Puff - You have been asking for a long time and we are so excited to finally bring to you real pearl powder. Pearl Powder is pretty timeless. We start seeing many references to it in the 19th century, but it was used before then. Historically if you wanted to make pearl powder, you would dissolve the pearls in vinegar. Pearl Powder has always been expensive, even historically. One 1826 recipe says, " It was only for the curious and the rich!" Powders like Rice Powder and different combinations of starches were also commonly used for face powders. Crushed Pearls

3. 2oz -Milk Of Roses-  is one of the winners of the Regency period for the face. It was continuously praised in advertisements. An 1819 ad said it was " the most delightful cosmetic in Europe". This comes from an 1811 receipt and will need to be vigorously shaken to combine the ingredients. Once it's combined it will look whitish - like milk. You can then use a cotton ball to apply it daily. After we finished this recipe. We located another receipt written by Martha Lloyd who was a very good friend of Jane Austen. The recipes were identical- so this product is something that Jane Austen could have used. Organic, Rose Water, Almond Oil, Oil of Tartar, Gum Benjamin

4. 4 1/4 oz - Orange Flower Water Earliest Date of Use: 1591

Orange Flower water is one of the best-known waters with a light Flowery Citrus Scent, it is liked by both men and women. It can be used as cologne, perfume, room freshener, and more. Try some in your bath water…. Heavenly!  Orange Flower water is documented as being used by Cleopatra and in Sicily by the fourteenth century as a scent for household linen. It has been a popular staple throughout history. By the 18th Century, it was being used for the household, cooking, and for the body. Many of the historical recipes from the 18th century through the 19th Century are the same for making Orange Flower water. In the 19th Century, women tended towards very flowery scents and Orange Flower Water was one that still could be purchased and worn by either sex. - Natural Orange Flower Oil, Distilled Water, Natural Orange, Natural Jasmine

5. 1/8oz - Powdered Kohl for the Eyes and Eyebrows- Historical texts will always tell you that it is a wonderful remedy to help see clearly and to brighten the eyes. Well, there is some truth to that. Most of us when we look in the mirror have red eyes. Our eye whites are not clear and white. But using the charcoal - will clean your eyes and remove impurities that cause the whites to redden and yellow. This is one of the "tricks" that helps the eye look blue or give the blueish tint they keep talking about. Ingredients: Activated Charcoal.

6.  1/4 oz 1811- Red Pomatum for the lips - Wanting an actual red rouge??? This is it! This regency recipe gives you that vintage red color you have been wanting. This is best applied with a lip brush- but you can use your fingers too ( it may stain). I am so excited about this color. This is a very vibrant red lip pomatum. I am sure it will quickly become one of your favorites for everyday, vintage, and historical looks.  Organic Jojoba Oil, Organic Almond Oil, Organic Bees Wax, Organic Rose Water, Rose EO,

7. An Awesome Box-  You can reuse or recycle!

This kit is a great start for your regency toilette. Women in the regency period started to be more concerned with the skin whereas in the 18th century, recipes for skin products were around and used, but by 1800- there was a push away from the "heavy" makeup of the 18th century for a more natural look of the Grecian beauties.

Looking to add the bone applicator for the kohl:

 Kohl Bone Applicator: https://www.etsy.com/listing/550274835/applicator-kajal-stick-eyeliner-mascara?ga_search_query=kohl&ref=shop_items_search_1&crt=1

This bone applicator is very close to the historical Kajal applicators used in the regency period. In the 1810 write up-, it talks about using an ivory pin. Many times the applicators were everything from bone, to wood, and precious metals. We have been working with this applicator for a while now and feel like it is a good substitute for the historical "pin"I have included the information in the last photo.

To use this:

gently dip the end into the kohl and brush the excess off on the rim of the container. Start in the inner corner of your eye, shut your eye and drag the bone pin across the inner waterline. The less the better for historical purposes in the Regency Era. You can achieve very fine lines with this pin, it just takes practice. Also historically women would use this for their eyelashes in the early 19th century and of course for darkening the eyebrows. e Flower Water
