In our archives, we have a recipe from 1722 that talks about using Myrrh as a secret to taking away wrinkles. " Heat an Iron Shovel red hot, throw on it some powder of Myrrh, and receive the smoke on your face, covering the head with a napkin to prevent it being dissipated. Repeat this operation three times, then heat the shovel again, when fiery hot pour on it a mouthful of white wine. Receive the vapor of the wine also on your face and repeat it three times. Continue with this method every night and morning as long as you find occasion."

History Of The Product:
We took the original Lily Pomatum recipe from 1772 in our shop here and added Myrrh to it. If you love Lily Pomatum ( 1772) or our Cleopatra's Enamel (1896), you will adore this limited edition combo of the two. This thick skin pomatum combines some of the best essential oils for beautiful skin at any age. Both of these would have been considered Enamels in their time. They help soften the skin, fill in wrinkles, and give a younger, brighter, anti-aging complexion and look.
HOW TO USE:
The original recipe's instructions from 1772 state: "It should be applied every night, and not wiped off till the next morning." This is a sticky product. It is meant to sit on the surface of your skin and slowly soak in, leaving your skin deeply hydrated and smooth. This pomatum can be used for the face, under the eyes, crow's feet, and so much more—any area of your body that needs super hydration. A little does a long way. Massage into skin and let soak in.
