Our organic green rooibos tea (Aspalathus linearis) is quite different from red rooibos teas. This tea is not oxidized, still retaining a slightly herbal aftertaste. It brews light in color, but may need some honey if you like your tea sweet.  Green rooibos is a hearty tea, with a warm scent and soft golden color once brewed.
Aroma and Flavor
The floral and lightly perfumed aroma complements the complex yet soft and palatable taste. The flavor of organic green rooibos tea can be described as smooth, clean, and grassy, with a subtle vegetal note. It lacks the strong earthy and nutty flavors often associated with red rooibos, providing a milder and more nuanced taste experience. 
Brew Instructions
Fill 1 teaspoon of tea in a cloth tea bag or mesh basket and place in your favorite mug. Pour 8 ounces of boiling water over the tea and allow to steep for 3-5 minutes or until desired strength is reached.
History
The recorded history of rooibosis over 300 years old, when European explorers noted the plant as being used by the Khoisan people. Rooibos tea is an herbal tea derived from Aspalathus linearis, a plant species endemic to the Western Cape area of South Africa.
