Help For Your Historical Hairstyle

Poof Supporter

For Help In Getting That Historical Hair Style

All Historical Eras

Blond

We all struggle with historical hair no matter what the era. If our hair is short and fine, it can be problematic when it comes to historical hair dressing. These "Poof Supporters" will help make things easier. Simply part your hair where you would like your poof, insert the support and work your hair over it- pinning securely. You can even add more than one. In the last photo, I used 4 of them. I did not rat the hair at all to get the poof. The height of the poof depends on hot tightly ou pull the hair over the poof supporter and your use of pomade and powder which will help give your hair lots of body. If you want a taller poof, try adding some wool on top. These are Plastic & Sponge stretch yarn so they aren't historically accurate but they will get the job done. Think of all the time periods, 18th Century, Victorian, Edwardian, 1940's. 1950's. I have been testing them for quite a while and I personally think that work really well and are super easy to work with.
