We are proud to bring you this 1912 Cold Cream. We chose this specific recipe for a few reasons. First, we were really thrilled when the ingredients were different from our previous cold creams. So many times - historical cold creams seem to have the same ingredient list. This one is completely different and amazing! Its main ingredient is Cocoa Butter, which not only contributes to the chocolatey scent, but it makes a rather stiff cream. Once it touches your fingers it warms and becomes silky soft. This reminds me of what we may consider similar to "body butter" in today's market. It does have orange flower water in, but the scent isn't really prevalent as the Peru Balsam takes over and mixes with the chocolatey cocoa butter for a truly pleasing Woodsy Vanilla aroma. Plus with Peru Balsam, It's excellent for those with sensitive skin!! This can be used to take off makeup or as a general moisturizer for the face and body!
