This recipe was made from a recipe that we added to that was used in 1772 by women.
This Scrub is AMAZING. I have very sensitive skin and I love how it revitalizes and smooths my skin. The original recipe calls for a lemon to be cut in half and roasted, then combined sugar and salt, and lastly placing, a gold leaf over the center which then is to be applied to your face. The original recipe says, 
"This juice greatly cleanses the skin, and brightens the complexion."

We omitted the Gold Leaf, but kept the roasted lemon and added olive oil. Check out below why it works for all skin types.

This recipe is wonderful and a must-try. After I use this on my face, I wash and then dry with a soft towel.

I have found that this is quite true. If you have sensitive skin, it is very gentle and cleanses very well, leaving you soft, glowing, and refreshed.
