History: 
This scrub recipe was adapted from an original 1772 recipe. We added to it, making it really amazing. Women in 1772 were conscious of having blemish-free skin, and this was one of the recipes we found in the Toilet de flora.   The original recipe calls for a lemon to be cut in half and roasted, then combined with sugar and salt. Lastly, a gold leaf is placed over the center, which is then applied to your face and gently scrubbed. The original recipe says, "This juice greatly cleanses the skin, and brightens the complexion." We omitted the Gold Leaf, but kept the roasted lemon and added olive oil, and Vitamin E. 
 
 How to Use
For body: Apply a generous amount to damp skin, massaging gently in circular motions. Rinse thoroughly for soft, exfoliated skin.
For lips: Apply a small amount to lips and gently scrub before rinsing for smoother, hydrated lips.
For those with sensitive skin, be extra gentle with the pressure. You don't need a lot of pressure when exfoliating.
Rinse and then towel off. Leaving your skin dewy and moisturized.
