Soothe Head Pain Caused By Headaches, Stress, Family and LIFE!

Martha Ballard's Migraine and Headache Balm
Updated recipe using Martha's recipe for her Migraine Tea
Headache Balm:
Poured in 1oz tins
about 23g

When most people get a headache they instantly reach for the painkillers, but recent research suggests that painkiller overuse can actually be one of the major causes of headaches.

If you’d like to stop using painkillers and treat your headaches, migraines, and cluster headaches naturally at home with historically natural and herbal remedies, give this a try. Maratha Ballard’s migraine balm was derived from her headache tea recipe found in her diary. You can also try the tea, which is available in my shop. We essentially transformed her tea into a balm, while also adding a few essential ingredients. I included the essential oils from her tea recipe—peppermint, rosemary, and feverfew—along with beeswax, shea butter, olive oil, and coconut oil. This lovely balm promotes relaxation for cluster headaches, migraines, and overall headache relief.

HOW TO APPLY:
This balm can be applied and massaged into your temples, forehead, back of the neck, or any other pressure points to naturally treat headache pain caused by everyday stress. It has a wonderfully soothing effect and is excellent for travel. It is topically safe, all-natural, and can be reapplied several times.  A little goes a long way.

Maratha was a midwife who lived in what is now Maine. She was born in 1735 and died in 1812, turely an amazing.

NOTE: Some natural, non-processed butters can become grainy depending on temperature changes. This is called crystallization. It occurs when shea butter ( or other non-processed natural butters) melts when exposed to warm conditions and then cools back down too slowly. This can cause the product to become grainy. However, it doesn't affect the actual product, and if you warm it in your fingers before applying it, the crystals will remelt.

Materials: Shea Butter, Olive Oil, Coconut oil, Peppermint oil, Rosemary oil, Feverfew oil, essential oil, Chamomile Oil
