Limited Edition Historical Inspired
Tinted Rose Balm
Lip Salve- Lip Gloss ( some may get a nice tint too!)
.5oz
$10.00

This label would be great for anyone wanting something earlier than the 18th century... think 16th-17th centuries!

The formula for this recipe is based on a 1772 recipe. We combined two 18th-century recipes and added our own spin. We didn't take anything out of the original but added beneficial oils plus the original Alkahnet and Rosewood from the 1772 recipe. This will soothe and moisturize your lips and give most customers a slightly rosy color. It works best in hot temperatures when the formula can melt a little. Scented with Rosewood and colored with Alkanet Root, this historically inspired berry-colored balm can work for the cheeks and lips. SOOOO LOVELY!

This lovely balm will work with your natural PH. The color will vary for everyone, some will be lighter, and some will be darker, it all depends on your PH. Under some circumstances, the amount of color will be little to none, but most customers do see a slight tint of color. More below.

Because this is a natural product with natural coloring that works with your PH, the color takes a few moments to show up on your lips, or it may need to be layered. Again, to achieve the most color, this needs to be warm, so keep it in your pocket or in the car.

PLEASE NOTE:
Varying Color: Under some circumstances, you may find that this historical product will not give a tint to the lips. If you find this the case, please try it on your cheeks. It may tint there. As mentioned, this rarely happens, but we wanted to inform you of this possibility. This has to do with the natural coloring of your lip, the PH, the alkanet root, and the firmness of the formula. Breaking that top later will help soften it. It will still work as a fantastic lip balm if this is the case. Also, make sure that you apply a liberal amount and give it some time to tint.

Ingredients: wax, alkanet root, cocoa butter, olive and coconut oils, rosewood, vitamin E.

Each tin will differentiate in color a little. It is the nature of the natural recipe.

NOTE: With cooler weather setting in, patches may appear on your product. This is a perfectly normal process that comes from the crystallization of the fat molecules within our organic, unprocessed cocoa butter. Because our butters are in their natural organic and unprocessed/untempered state, natural changes can occur. This is very similar to the crystallization of chocolate.
